Can you believe its Fall Y’all!? Fall has to be my favorite season. I adore fall decor (duh – hence this Fall Dining Room Table Decor), fall fashion, and the beauty that fall brings. Here in SoFla we don’t get to see the seasons change as much as other parts – but boy do we see beauty. Plus, we can always travel to see the leaves change and wear our favorite scarves and sweaters on vacation.
I wanted to get a jump start on fall decorating this year. Fall seems like its busier than ever. We have a Housewarming party (1 year after move in – oops – and stay tuned for the house reveal), 3 weddings, and tons of weekend events and plans. We stay busy around here and love every minute of it.
Fall Dining Room Table Decor
As many of you know, I’m totally obsessed with anything and everything succulent and cactus. I just love the boho and organic vibe the colors and textures bring as a decor element. When thinking about how I wanted to decorate my first ever fall dining room table decor, I knew I wanted to incorporate succulent and cactus into my design. After all, this should reflect my taste and personality right?! You may think… HOLD UP Megan. Cactus and succulents are NOT fall decor – pumpkins only all the way. Well, I’ll beg to differ. Maybe you can see why. Introducing my Fall Dining Room Table Decor.
You know when you have an idea in your mind and you want nothing more than to make it happen? This fall dining room table decor set up turned out exactly like I had envisioned. I adore how the greens of the succulents and cacti coordinate with my favorite D2D Palm Leaf Window Panels while the white tones the look down a bit. I have always had a thing for white pumpkins. Orange just isn’t my thing… especially since its a Florida Gators color ;). To me, this fall dining table look is a mix of boho, farmhouse, and trend — which is exactly my style.
Fall Dining Room Table Decor Set Up
Here’s how I put together this look:
Of course, I set the table with the chargers, plates, and glasses. I started with the pots and placed them strategically to get an idea of spaces that need to be filled and what to put where. I grabbed some of my favorite succulents and cacti from our local plant nursery. They literally know my name. It’s BAD… but OH SO GOOD. Try to choose different styles. I chose one that would be a bit taller, one that is more like a vine, one cactus, and two succulents to plant together in the bigger pot. I will move these little guys out to our plant stand after the season and use them year round!
These little fall accessories are from Hobby Lobby. I started filling some of those holes with the hay bales and cotton bolls. Then, I added some Spanish moss in-between as a “ground covering” to bring the look together. Finally, I added the little white pumpkins to bring in that fall aspect. I love how they are assorted styles and sizes and have a realistic look. I have to say I am completely obsessed with this look!
Can’t get over these designer window panels. I get compliments on them EVERY time someone comes over. I linked them here so you can add them straight from this post!
I spy my little rescue pup on her favorite cowhide rug – and in front of my white linen window panels.
Fall Dining Room Table Decor Items
That’s it. PRO TIP: use things you already have and work around the empty spots to create the look you are going for. Try using faux items that you can use in different decor – year after year. I hope you enjoyed this look! Please tag us #iLoveD2D if you try to recreate this look. We would love to see your rendition!
Cheers & happy fall y’all!
xo,
Megan
