APT/HOME/LIVING/FAMILY ROOM – Magnolia Home
Magnolia Home is perfect in ANY room! Check out some of our favorite room staying shoots using our Magnolia Home products in our very own designer Megan’s home!
This is my newly designed space in my (new) home. This space is the sitting area for the pool table and a great visual impact right when you walk into my home. Here, we paired our Magnolia Home Etta Pillow, Trellis Pillow, Zander Pillow, and Leigh Pillow together to add bold texture and design. We added this black leather tufted couch (we sell it – contact us if you want it!) and antique peacock chair (which Billy hates LOL – but I think secretly loves it). Of course, I added our favorite white linen window panels to brighten up the room while adding texture and a sleek look and a real cowhide rug to tie it all together. I don’t think I will ever take these window panels down. The “B” and “M” letter are from Michaels. The are battery operated and were on sale -SCORE! We found this skull with gold horns at our local Homegoods and I fell in love. I did a little DIY and added greenery, feathers, and floral for a “boho” look. It turned out being one of my favorite spaces in my home.
Of course, my living room had to feature my Farmhouse (and Magnolia Home) style. I bombed the Thomasville couches with Magnolia Home Pillows mixed with D2D pillows of course. This farmhouse holy shiplap square pillow is one of my all time favorites. Of course, I added black gingham plaid window panels and matching plaid pillows to tie it all together. We had this coffee table custom made by a local wood guru and it turned out perfect for the space. The rug, one of my all time favorites, really stole my heart with the braided fringe accents. I love how the large metal windmill contrasts against the black metal bookcase to really make this room unique and our style.
I always love the idea of a bench in a master bedroom. Here, I added a tray with my favorite book (The Magnolia Story, duh), a cactus (again, duh) and candle. We also threw on a couple of our favorite Magnolia pillows to add texture and color to this area.
Here’s another way you can style a masted bedroom bench using different Magnolia Home pillows.
Check out this close up of the living room. I honestly adore how it turned out. Don’t you want to just jump on one of these couches and take a little siesta… or watch the next episode of Fixer Upper… or even start ordering from Decor 2 Ur Door?
Our rescue pit, Kanoa, wanted to make her feature in this blog. Isn’t she she stinking’ cutest? She loves Magnolia Home as much as I do – and she tells daddy we can NEVER have enough :). This white secretary piece I refinished and made into my jewelry storage. It serves as organization but also as a design piece and a way to display all my fun jewels. Billy gets the drawers for his storage – so it’s fun for everyone!
Texture, texture, texture makes perfect! Don’t be afraid to mix different woods, different pillows, and different colors. Somehow- it ALWAYS seems to come together perfectly! PS: one of my favorite elements are these hanging succulents. NOTE: I tried being #PlantLady for this and used real succulents… well, the glass containers don’t hold the water and it drips down dirt and water down the wall. I got in a little trouble (oops) so switched to faux succulents and it looks just as great :).
Living room love – farmhouse style.
PS: Magnolia Home pillows are even great on the patio. We styled these on the bar cart I refurbished and added them to our patio furniture for a little comfort and style. Perfecto!
Ultimately though, Magnolia Home =home. Am I right?
But what comes next on our seemingly endless list of renovations? Currently, we’re thinking of upgrading our heating system. We want to be absolutely sure that when winter comes we’re ready for the elements!
A friend of mine has recommended I take a look online for a company like AirNow who specialise in air conditioning and heating instalments and repairs. You can click here to learn more about the different services they offer.
